To the best of our knowledge
your present Corporate Liability Insurance does not
indemnify your company for damages caused by Identity
Theft to either your employees or customers from information
gathered via hacking, phishing, insider fraud etc.
When a firm inadvertently
lets out client's, employee's or customer's sensitive
information, the company obviously is liable for damages
and the company may even be subject to class action
lawsuits.
Generally speaking Identity
Theft Insurance is purchased before the event occurs
and that is still the best and least expensive time
to purchase the coverage.
However, because of
My ID Fix™, Inc. unique identity theft record
we have been able to partner with AIG Insurance so
this policy is available even after a break in.
After an incident a
larger initial payment is usually required as you
will immediately be accessing the My
ID Fix Corporate identity theft prevention program
which is included with this policy.
If no event has occured
you may purchase this identity theft insurance with
credit monitoring. A minimum may be required as your
employees will be able to use this program right away.
As
an additional employee benefit at no expense to the
company is available. Any employee already in need
of identity theft prevention due to a stolen wallet
etc. or who are already an identity theft victims
(unrelated to any company issues) will receive a 25%
rebate check on any of the MY ID Fix™. Inc.
products.
